This photograph depicts the glorious Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna, Austria, once home to the mighty Habsburgs of Austria-Hungary. It currently serves as the official residence of the President of Austria. Its exterior as well as its interiors are great reminders of the opulence of the European royals in the Age of Empires.

It looks like a painting ๐ that`s the first thought came to mind when I saw this photo ^.^ I love the tone and the depth of this , really good job ๐
I like the shot. I think the angle at which you captured this is appealing. I really love all of the reflections. What time of day/night was it when you took the photo? It seems like it was probably fairly dim out and the ISO had to be pretty high to expose the photo (hence all the noise, I’m kind of a fan of noise by the way)?
Well I guess you know a lot about photography. Honestly, I’m just a kid with an iPhone. ๐ so it’s just the photo apps that I use that modify the shot settings automatically, and as far as noise is concerned, you’ll find a lot of it in my pictures because te iPhone camera isn’t the clearest.
I know a little about photography, but not a ton. I only started with photography this year, it is my second favorite hobby, I would say (music being first). Nothing wrong with being “a kid with an iPhone”, it is ideas that create good photography, not the equipment used. You should check out the book “The Best Camera is the One That’s With You” by Chase Jarvis. He is a famous photographer that made the book to show that it is not the camera that is important; the whole thing was shot with his iPhone.
Well thank you. I will certainly check out the book. And well photography isnt my favorite hobbies either, I am more of a writer. That being said, photography is a fun pass time and I have put up a new photograph. Do check it out! ๐

I’ve seen it in real life, but that was in the snow! It looks totally different here. I like the reflections on the wet pavement ๐

Indeed they do. The Habsburgs have a long lineage and are even pretenders to the Commonwealth Crown.
